Promoting the Healthy Minds and Bodies of Children and the Deaf by Co-sponsoring Soccer Schools

Kubota Myanmar supports the Albirex Niigata Myanmar Soccer School for local children and the deaf.

Albirex Niigata Singapore, a J-League Albirex Niigata satellite soccer team, has been operating the Albirex Niigata Myanmar Soccer School in Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar, since 2014.

Schools are held at the three Yangon locations of the Yangon Japanese School, the Mary Chapman School for the Deaf, and A Socca Field, a futsal field, and are open to Japanese children living in the local area and to Myanmar boys and girls seeking a soccer environment to enjoy.

Identifying with the Albirex Niigata Myanmar Soccer School concept of promoting soccer to local children and the deaf, Kubota Myanmar Co., Ltd. (KMCL) has been a co-sponsor since 2019. KMCL supports various soccer school initiatives, such as soccer clinics at the Dream Train, a child development center; the Albirex Cup in which teams coached by the school participate; and online lessons for children who are restricted from leaving home for reasons including the COVID-19 outbreak.

Kubota has had a close relationship with Myanmar since 1953. KMCL will continue contributing to the local community through co-sponsoring soccer for children and the deaf in Myanmar which promotes the development of their healthy minds and bodies.
