Kubota Obtained the Highest-Rating in “CDP Water Security Program 2020”

Kubota Corporation (Head Office: Naniwa-ku, Osaka, Japan; President and Representative Director: Yuichi Kitao; hereinafter, “Kubota”) has been identified as the Highest-Rated “A-List Company” in “CDP*1 Water Security Program 2020*2”, a research concerning water security. The Kubota Group was recognized as a global leader in its business strategy, action and disclosure regarding water security. This is Kubota's third "A-list rating" for water security in two consecutive years
Kubota has been striving to solve problems in the field of “food, water and the environment” with the brand statement "For Earth, For Life". Since its foundation in 1890, Kubota has widely supplied products from intake water to wastewater, including water cast iron pipes, valves, pumps and water treatment facilities to contribute to the improvement of water infrastructure in the world. Also in the field of “food,” Kubota supplies agricultural water piping materials and system of water level management for rice farming.
In addition to the proper management of industrial wastewater, the Kubota Group has been working to reduce water consumption by conserving water and recycling wastewater at its business sites. Furthermore, the Group has conducted water stress surveys at global production sites to identify and manage risks regarding water resource use.
The supply of safe and secure water and construction of water treatment facilities have a significant contribution on human health, food production and economic activities.
