we have put together the history of the Company,
entitled the Kubota Digital Archives.
With "For Earth, For Life" as its inspiration, Kubota has steadily accumulated its various businesses, working hard together with people in countries around the world. Here, we introduce the challenges we have undertaken over the past 30 years, toward a sustainable world for the future.
Today, Kubota's consolidated companies comprise 180 companies across 120 countries and roughly 52,000 employees. With revenue of 3.20 trillion yen, Kubota has flourished as a global company, with approximately 80% of its operations based outside of Japan. Here, we introduce the history that made Kubota what it is today.
After accumulating experience at a casting workshop in Osaka, Gonshiro Kubota founded the Company in 1890 at the tender age of 19. Here, we introduce the founder of Kubota, a company that has since gone on to establish 130 years of history.
